Theatre Baton Rouge's Main Stage is a great place to host your dance recital, church play or any other function.
To request the Main Stage for your event, fill out and submit the request form above. Email the form to the TBR Box Office at BoxOffice@theatreBR.org (with the subject line marked TBR Main Stage Rental) or you can mail it to:

All events, unless otherwise specified by the Technical Director, must use the following Theatre Baton Rouge technicians at the corresponding rate.
Additional technicians shall be scheduled on a need basis and will be outlined in the contract.
Minimum call times are four (4) hours for technical.
Show/Performance call is for four (4) hours and may not start before one (1) hour prior to curtain.
Rental (rehearsal days) - $450/Day
Rental (performance days) - $750/Day
House Manager - $15/Hour
Ushers - $15/Hour
Social Media - $20/Hour
Ticket Sales (total gross)* - 15% /Ticket
Ticket Printing (per performance) - $60/Perf.
Box Office Personnel - $15/Hour
Custodial Fee (Deposit & Fee**) - $250

Technical Director $35/Hour
Stage Manager (if needed) - $25/Hour
Lighting Designer (if needed) - $25/Hour

Any other lighting request is considered a Special Request and a meeting needs to be arranged with the TBR Lighting Designer at $25/hour.
*Total ticket gross percentage is calculated on agreed contract stipulations between client and TBR.
**A $200 Refundable Cleaning Deposit and $50 Non-Refundable Cleaning Deposit will be required for all rentals. Refundable Cleaning Deposit can be redeemed after final walk through of the space.
All labor shall be charged at a four (4) -hour minimum.

If your event wishes to rent the bar in the Main Lobby, you can. However you must use one of our state-certified bartenders to maintain security and to check for underage drinkers. We will check IDs and reserve the right to refuse alcohol to minors or those we believe are intoxicated already.
Bartender Services - $65 (event)
You may supply your own liquor, but are required to have a valid liquor license. If so, you may keep all the profits. If TBR supplies the liquor, all profits from the bar are kept by TBR.

TBR will only rent out its costumes for production events including theatre, church, school, movie companies and television for theatrical purposes. There are times we will suspend all rentals due to our own production schedule. Prices will vary depending on the costume required. Please contact us for rental availability.

A deposit fee will be collected prior to rental. The deposit amount varies and will be returned when costumes are returned to TBR in the same condition they were in when rented and by the return date specified. The non-refundable rental fee is due upon dispatch of the rental items and must be received by TBR before costumes leave the theatre.
Renter may perform alterations only in a manner that will allow the item to be easily returned to the size/design/condition, etc. that it was originally in when rented. Cutting, dying, distressing, etc. are not permitted. Alterations that permanently alter the item will result in replacement/damage fees.
Use of any type of tape such as gaffer or duct tape is not permitted and such use may result in damage or replacement fees. The Costume Shop Manager will inspect items upon leaving and return to determine any said damages.
Late fees start and become due the day after the agreed upon return date (unless other arrangements are made with the Costume Shop Manager in advance of the return date). Fees are $15 per item and will accumulate on a weekly basis,
Items are not to be cleaned or laundered in any way by the renter. Any cleaning by the renter without written permission from the costume shop manager could result in damage fees. Cleaning fees are included in the total rental fee.
