Theatre Baton Rouge began staging dramas and comedies in 1946,  In 1962, TBR also began staging what became known as our Summer Musicals. In 2006, the Second Stage was created to showcase our edgier productions and in 2013, that grew into the Turner-Fischer City Series. 2014 saw the official addition of the TBR Young Actors Program.
