Youth Audition Workshop
September 28, 2019     10 AM-1PM

Looking for a little help to prepare for your Guys and Dolls audition?
Or any other audition you’ve got coming up?

Join Jack Lampert, Lily McGill, Beth Bordelon and Julian Guillory on Saturday, September 28th to help polish your audition piece, go through a practice dance call, and answer any questions you might have about the audition process.

Beth Bordelon will teach the vocal section of the workshop, covering how to choose your audition cuts and presenting your best self during the audition. Students will need to bring 16-32 bars of a musical theatre song that they would like to work during this session.

*Please bring your sheet music!*

Julian Guillory will take students through a mock dance call, with tips on how to make the most of your abilities and present your best self during auditions. Please wear/bring appropriate clothes/shoes. (Something that you can move in, and either tennis shoes or dance shoes. You do not need to purchase new shoes for this workshop.)

Jack Lampert and Lily McGill will spend time with students to help fight any audition nerves – bring your questions! They will walk students through what to expect on the day of auditions – what to wear, bring, prepare, etc.

Space is limited to 20 students for this workshop, so call 225-924-6496 to register today. Registration for the day is $75.

*This workshop is not required to audition for Guys and Dolls, but offered for any young actors who would like to attend. Attendance at this workshop will have no basis in any casting decisions for the show.*
